SIMPLE LEVEL 7

By completing Simple Level 7, without floatation equipment or support, I can;


- Perform an eggbeater kick while swimming on the back for a distance of 10 metres (one float is allowed) 

- Tread water for 30 seconds while demonstrating an eggbeater kick while keeping the face above the water and breathing regularly 

- Perform a sitting or kneeling dive, then maintain a streamlined position in the water for 5 metres

- Swim 10 metres doing the ‘corkscrew’ stroke (one arm pull on front, rotate body, one arm pull on back, rotate body, repeat)

- Swim to the nearest wall in deep water while maintaining correct body position and remember to tread water/breathe if I get into difficulty

- Jump/dive into the water then swim 10 metres front crawl, tread water for 10 seconds, turn around, then swim front crawl back to the wall

- Perform a feet first sculling action for 5 metres
