SIMPLE LEVEL 6
By completing Simple Level 6, without floatation equipment or support, I can;
- Give two examples of how to prepare for exercise and understand why it is important.
- Sink, push off on side from the wall, glide, kick and rotate into a backstroke position
- Sink, push off on side from the wall, glide, kick and rotate into a front crawl position
- Push and glide then swim front crawl to include at least six rhythmical breaths (must alternate the side which a breath is taken to each time)
- Push and glide then swim breaststroke to include at least six rhythmical breaths.
- Push and glide then swim backstroke to include at least six regular breaths.
- Push and glide then swim 15 metres, choice of stroke is optional
- Perform a surface dive, swim 10 metres under the water while blowing bubbles and collect a sinker/object.
- Perform a head first sculling action in a flat body position for 5 metres on the back
